Our Ministries Missionary Service: Aboriginal people across Australia are asking for Gospel ministry. There is an open invitation to help lay some firm foundations for the future of the Indigenous Church. AIM has many opportunities for you to get involved in mission in Australia’s backyard. Ministry Ø Christians can take up well-funded and resourced positions in government and private sector employment throughout Australia, using their particular training and skills. This is coupled with a unique opportunity for much-needed ministry, witness, fellowship and encouragement amongst Aboriginal communities. Ø AIM is able to offer help with location of job opportunities in areas such as health, education, trades, management, and other skills. Opportunities exist in work locations as diverse as the urban areas of our large cities and towns, rural areas, outback centres, or remote and isolated communities. More? ... Ø Designed to give you an introduction to the cultural perspective of Indigenous Australians, with unique opportunity for interaction and sharing with Aboriginal Christians in their own environment. Ø This is coupled with on site exposure to the present ministries and needs, so that you might be better informed to give prayerful interest and support to those serving with AIM in various ministries around Australia. Ø Tours for your church, fellowship or Bible study group Ø You can join in with others to make up a group Ø Time of the year, length of tour, and places visited can be customised to suit Ø Travel and accommodation can be arranged to suit the group needs: Bus, self-catering, tent camping, or fly/drive and motel/cabins etc. More? ...
