"We
sat around a camp fire next to a lake under a huge night sky. I just couldn't
get past the enveloping feeling of humility that was clutching at me. There
was an Aboriginal woman sitting, telling us how Jesus had changed her life.
She was so passionate in her thankfulness, and so fresh in her love for her Saviour. I had questions rushing
into my head: Why don’t I want
to share with others like that?
Was it any more than what Jesus had done for me? Where was my zeal?
Where was my fervent love?
This woman seemingly was surrounded
by such simple earthly
possessions and yet she demonstrated in her speech that she had everything that really matters in fife.
This trip was really good for me. It was great being able to share and love,
but what I learnt from these people I will never forget.
